Life, Cats and Dogs

Amanda did an awesome job in CATS! She is an excellent dancer and did a remarkable job (I may be biased, but irregardless, she was spectacular!). I went 3 of the 6 nights and Susan was there for 4 nights and Victoria saw it a couple of nights. The school did a really good job with the whole performance. A lot of the photos I took of the play turned out blurry or too dark (usually both, actually!). So I'm going to try to get some photos out of the video (yes, I recorded the most of it!).

Victoria had a blast with the characters. She knew some of the kids, but even if she didn't, she would just run up and expect a picture, a hug, or both.

We got a bark collar off of e-bay for Dagon (the little terrier/chihuahua cross dog of ours) to see if we could get a stop put to his barking. I put it on him last night. Mandi's friend came over and Dagon started to bark. He got beeped, but didn't care. He got the next step up, which I don't even know if he felt. He barked again and got another level up and he stopped barking for a moment, then he started again, which kicked up to the next level (shocking collar, not the worthless supersonic sound thing). Well, he felt that one, then started to yelp because of the pain, which then kicked it up to the last shock level and he really yelped. I calmed him and it stopped and he was o.k. When Mandi's friend went to leave, he started in barking again and got zapped, zapped, and yelping. At that point I took it off and it won't go back on.

The make-up is amazing! Can't wait to see more! She absolutely gorgeous, by the way. Must have been a busy week for you, at least.
Your dog collar story reminds me of a clip I saw on America's Funniest Home Videos - did you ever see the guy try out the shock collar? I have never laughed so hard at one of their videos. Maybe you should try it out...

She sure did make us proud. They did their own makeup, too.

The dog collar guy on AFV is from northern idaho... where we keep the dumb ones! :) I've seen him a few times. I'd let him have ours! It is pretty funny when he gets zapped well.

Wow...that looks like an amazing school production...good job Amanda!!
I have to chuckle at the barking collar...it brings to mind all the AFV videos of (dumb) guys putting them and while being filmed!
