Dagon strikes his "Scary Tough Guy" pose!Wow... two in two days. We went to an egg hunt at the church this morning. I didn't realize it, but it was also a breakfast for the ward. Which was kind of nice, as we got up in time to take Victoria to the egg hunt. She had fun and got a stash of candy, so she was happy.
Later we got Amanda to join us and we colored some Easter eggs. She wasn't thrilled about it, but she did join us and had a tolerably decent time. She even consented to being photographed, although she wasn't in her "going out and seeing people" attire. The older she gets, the less enthusiastic she becomes about family activities, for the most part. Oh, well... I think most of us went through that, whether we admit it or not. She is still a super-wonderful girl and an awesome daughter! She is now doing x-rays at the chiropractor's office where she works. Electrocution and irradiation of patients... why couldn't I get a fun job like that at 16???
Later Victoria said she wanted to fly a kite, which was odd because we haven't done that in ages. We had a sponge bob kite in the closet, so we got it out. We went out and it flew! I've never flown a kite that's stayed up for more than about 32.7 seconds, so it was kind of fun when Victoria kept it up for over 10 minutes. She had a blast!
Amanda went to the Junior Miss thing at the high school with her friend. I've stuck on a picture of that so you can see what Idaho kids travel in! :) Actually, it is the truck she was in for crash three of a few months ago. Instead of repairing the bed, they replaced it with the flatbed. So that s what her friend drives to school now. Gotta love it!

Have a Happy Easter, everyone!

What a wonderful Easter! I had to laugh at your description of Amanda having a "tolerably decent time." Yes, I remember that age! She sounds like a great kid...what a cool job...kudos to her!
